Facilities
The Wash Common Community Centre offers the following facilities:
- Entrance hall, accessed by double doors, complete with notice boards giving general information on regular activities held at the centre and appropriate contacts.
- Main hall, accessed by double doors from the entrance hall and furnished with folding tables, stacking chairs, and 13A power points. Ceiling heaters are provided and switched from within the adjacent kitchen. There are two sets of exit double doors into the outside play area and an access hatch, complete with sliding closure, into the kitchen area. The hall measures 18.70m by 9.85m and the height to where the wall meets the ceiling is 2.78m
- Ladies and Gentlemen's toilet facilities, accessed from the entrance hall and fitted with provision for disabled persons.
- Fully equipped kitchen accessed from the entrance hall and with an access hatch into the main hall.
- Committee room, accessed from the main hall and with exit provision to the centre outside parking area.
- Outside, off road, car parking facility complete with wheel chair access ramp to the main door of the centre and a single designated disabled parking space adjacent to the main door.
